About Jackie and Christy

Jackie Ball (On the right) is a Brooklyn-based entertainer.

She studied theatre at Lamar University in Texas, and after moving to NY,  broadened her acting horizons by taking improv classes at The Upright Citizens Brigade. From sketch shows at the Producer’s Club to a feature film with Nigeran Icons, Jackie is always up for a challenge and a chance to perform. She spends her days writing, auditioning, bouldering, and putting kids inside of bubbles. Jackie has been celebrating an alcohol-free lifestyle since August 2017 and is the Events Manager of SobrieTea Party. If you’d like to see her in NYC’s Winterfest this February, click here.

Christina Scott (On the left) is a New York-based writer, professor, and improviser.

She studied writing at Sarah Lawrence College in Westchester County, New York, where she received her Masters of Fine Arts. Her work has been featured in The Quotable, Maudlin House, Defenestration Mag, and Animal Literary Magazine, to name a few. She has studied improvisation at The People’s Improv Theatre and The Upright Citizen’s Brigade. She has also taken storytelling classes at The Magnet, and performed at The Moth. During her days she teaches writing at a local college.
